        The Real Estate Practice Group is involved in all aspects of the financing, leasing, development, sale or exchange and syndication of real property. Among the projects undertaken have been commercial shopping center developments, office buildings, hotels, industrial parks and other common interest developments and natural resource development. The Firm provides services in all phases of real estate development, including land acquisition, financing and project analysis, construction and leasing. The Firm's attorneys are particularly experienced in negotiating and drafting commercial, industrial, shopping center and ground leases.

        The Practice Group has acknowledged expertise in land use planning and zoning matters generally and its attorneys work well with local government authorities to achieve a client's development goals. The real estate practice group also represents some of the country's largest and most successful institutional lenders in connection with all phases of financing activities, including loan documentation, workouts and foreclosures.

        The Group also works in the areas of environmental and natural resources law, performing regulatory work, negotiating the terms of ventures organized to explore for and develop oil and gas and other natural resources, and otherwise providing counseling on environmental issues.
