Whether businesses and corporate clients require a counselor, an advocate, or both, they need litigators who understand and can successfully navigate the increasingly complex commercial and business environment. Veatch Carlson's Corporate Litigation Practice is comprised of attorneys with significant experience assisting clients in a variety of business and commercial disputes in matters pending before both the state and federal courts. Our attorneys serve as trial counsel and have a substantive record for successfully resolving business disputes. However, with the prevention of disputes always the preferred course, we take great care to advise and counsel clients regarding risk management, pre-litigation dispute resolution and litigation avoidance.

Attorneys in this practice group handle matters including defense of RICO claims, partnerships and intra-corporate disputes, antitrust matters, breach of contract, commercial collections, and real estate litigation. Our attorneys also have expertise with all types of disputes related to the California usury law, defamation, unfair competition and interference.

We also have significant experience in litigating disputes arising from the misuse of confidential information or misappropriation of trade secrets, rights of publicity, invasion of privacy, defamation and trade libel. We offer experience in obtaining temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions in both state and federal courts. Our litigation accomplishments include cases involving trade dress, copyright infringement, Lanham Act violations and statutory unfair competition.
