Ken Baisch graduated from the University of Michigan in 1981 with High Distinction and High Honors in Latin and Medieval & Renaissance Studies and went on to law school at the University of Michigan School of Law, where he obtained his JD. in 1984. While there, he served as Articles Editor for the Michigan Yearbook of International Legal Studies. Ken has served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the San Diego Superior Court Small Claims Division. He is admitted to practice in the State of California, the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California.

Before joining Veatch Carlson, Ken was a lawyer with the Erickson Law Firm in San Diego, California. He has an extensive civil litigation background that includes business, employment, construction defect, personal injury, products liability, and education cases. He has obtained outstanding results for his clients, including several favorable appellate decisions. He has served as lead appellate counsel in several matters, including the published decisions in Farahani v. San Diego Community College Dist. (2009) and Agosta v. Astor (2004).

Ken joined the firm’s civil law and motion team in 2019 and is presently focused on briefing and oral argument. Ken has also published several articles in aviculture magazines.
