Neil Evans is a 1979 graduate of UCLA with a 1982 JD from Loyola Marymount University. He received the distinction of Ph Betta Kappa at UCLA, and St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and Editor of the Law Review at LMU. He has successfully tried to verdict more than 100 Jury Trials. He is admitted to practice in the State of California, and the Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of the U.S. District Court of California. He is also admitted to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and the Northern District of the U.S. District Court of Texas. He is also admitted to the United States Tax Court, and has been admitted Pro Hac Vice in Nevada, Maine, and Delaware.

Before joining Veatch Carlson, Neil was the owner of his own law firm for 30 years. He also previously served as a senior associate at Fulbright and Jaworski and at Burke, Williams & Sorensen in Los Angeles. He has an extensive litigation background that includes environmental, toxic tort, real estate, unfair competition, and business litigation. He has obtained outstanding results for his clients, including several favorable appellate decisions.

Neil also has tried personal injury cases arising from auto accidents, construction accidents, commercial and lease disputes, and both residential and commercial premises accidents. He has also defended lawyers, and real estate and insurance brokers in negligence actions.
