KEVIN R. LUSSIER was admitted to the California bar in 1989. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree (with High Honors) in Political Science from the California State University, Fullerton in 1986, and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis in 1989.

Mr. Lussier is the Director of the Firm’s Intellectual Property Department. A civil litigator with deep experience across all categories of business disputes, his practice primarily focuses on intellectual property litigation, including trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, false advertising, misappropriation of trade secrets, and commercial disparagement. Mr. Lussier also has represented Fortune 500 companies in many types of complex litigation, including employment, antitrust, product liability, environmental, and contractual disputes. In addition to representing clients in trial courts, Mr. Lussier is an experienced appellate lawyer, having obtained victories for clients in the California Court of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Lussier joined Veatch Carlson in 2014. He spent the first 10 years of his career in the litigation department of the international firm of Jones Day. Subsequently, Mr. Lussier became a name principal in the Los Angeles boutique litigation firm of Berry & Lussier, APC, where he practiced all manner of business litigation for 14 years.

Mr. Lussier resides in South Pasadena with his wife Andrea and has two daughters. In addition to being involved in community activities, Mr. Lussier serves as a Trustee of the Pasadena Methodist Foundation
