Ashley, Kim D.

KIM D. ASHLEY was admitted to the California bar in 2007. She received a Bachelor of Science degree (with Honors) in Business Administration with an option in Finance from the California State University, Northridge, which she attended as a Presidential Scholar. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis in 2007.

Ms. Ashley is a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property Department. She has experience representing businesses, entertainers, and other individuals in actions for copyright and trademark infringement, patent actions, breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and media torts, including defamation and invasion of privacy. Ms. Ashley has broad experience in all phases of civil litigation, from pre-trial factual investigation and discovery, through trial, to post-trial and appellate practice.

Ms. Ashley joined Veatch Carlson in 2014. Prior to joining Veatch Carlson, Ms. Ashley spent seven years practicing intellectual property, business litigation, and entertainment law at a boutique firm in Century City.
