SERENA L. NERVEZ is a partner and manages the firm’s law and motion department. She attended the University of California, Davis, and graduated in 1999.  She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 2003.  During law school, Serena served as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Law Journal and held internships with the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the Offices of the United States Attorneys.

Serena began her legal career in Orange County specializing in medical malpractice, wrongful death, and elder abuse cases. She then quickly expanded her expertise to include toxic tort, dietary supplement actions, business fraud, catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death.

Serena joined Veatch Carlson in 2017, and specializes in law and motion, appeals, writs, and oral argument. She practices in both state and federal courts, and has extensive experience in the trial and appellate courts with actions involving homeowner and commercial disputes, public entity liability, trade libel, breach of charitable trust, breach of contract, business torts, fraud, and unfair business practices.
