S. RYAN PATTERSON is a graduate of Biola University with a Juris Doctorate from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he served as a staff editor of the Chapman Journal of Criminal Justice, and an award-winning member of the school’s mock trial team. While at Chapman, Ryan served as an extern to the Hon. Peter H. Carroll, then Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California. He is admitted to practice in the State of California and in the Central District of the U.S. District Court of California

Before joining Veatch Carlson, Ryan was an attorney at the Erikson Law Group, an intellectual property litigation boutique with a focus on the fine art and fashion industries. Ryan also has an extensive background in business litigation that includes breach of contract, fraud, labor disputes, and corporate governance. He has obtained outstanding results for his clients, including at the appellate level.

Ryan has represented clients in personal injury cases, lease disputes, and both residential and commercial premises accidents. He joins the firm’s trial team in managing personal injury and premises liability litigation.
